Setting up your new crossbow

When your bow arrives, read the manual first, then mount the scope and check that every screw is snug. Shoot your first groups at 20 yards from a steady rest and adjust the scope before moving back to 30 and 40 yards. Wax the string lightly every 75 to 100 shots and keep the rail clean. A few minutes of care like this keeps your Excalibur RevX shooting tight groups for many seasons.

Questions about the Excalibur RevX

Can you de-cock the Excalibur RevX?

Yes. The ChargerX crank lets you let the string down safely, so you don’t have to shoot a discharge bolt at the end of the day.

RevX or RevX TD?

They shoot the same. The RevX TD adds a takedown design for easy travel and storage.

Before your hunt, check the crossbow rules for your province, for example the Ontario hunting regulations. Still comparing? Look at the Excalibur RevX TD and Excalibur Hybrid X, or browse all Excalibur crossbows in Canada. Questions about the Excalibur RevX? Get in touch and we’ll help.
