Setting up your new crossbow
When your bow arrives, read the manual first, then mount the scope and check that every screw is snug. Shoot your first groups at 20 yards from a steady rest and adjust the scope before moving back to 30 and 40 yards. Wax the string lightly every 75 to 100 shots and keep the rail clean. A few minutes of care like this keeps your Excalibur Hybrid X shooting tight groups for many seasons.
Questions about the Excalibur Hybrid X
Is the Excalibur Hybrid X a compound or a recurve?
A bit of both. It uses Excalibur’s limb technology with a custom cam system, so it is narrower and faster than a pure recurve.
Can I restring the Hybrid X myself?
Yes. It is designed to be serviced without a bow press.
Before your hunt, check the crossbow rules for your province, for example the Ontario hunting regulations. Still comparing? Look at the Suppressor Extreme and Excalibur RevX, or browse all Excalibur crossbows in Canada. Questions about the Excalibur Hybrid X? Get in touch and we’ll help.
