Description

The Excalibur Suppressor Extreme is a compact recurve crossbow that hits 400 FPS while staying quiet enough for close-range treestand hunting. If you want real speed without giving up the simplicity of a recurve, this is the one to look at.

Who it’s for

It suits hunters who sit in tight stands or ground blinds and want enough power for elk, moose or big whitetails. The short, light build swings easily in cramped spaces, and the sound-dampening system keeps the shot from spooking nearby game.

Excalibur Suppressor Extreme features

  • 400 FPS from High-Output limbs with armour tips
  • Recurve limbs: no cams or cables, so there is less to break or tune
  • CeaseFire anti-dry-fire: the bow will not fire unless an arrow is loaded, the safety is off and the trigger is pulled
  • Premium trigger with a crisp, clean break
  • Charger EXT crank that detaches in seconds and rides in your pack

Setting up your new crossbow

When your bow arrives, read the manual first, then mount the scope and check that every screw is snug. Shoot your first groups at 20 yards from a steady rest and adjust the scope before moving back to 30 and 40 yards. Wax the string lightly every 75 to 100 shots and keep the rail clean. A few minutes of care like this keeps your Excalibur Suppressor Extreme shooting tight groups for many seasons.

Questions about the Excalibur Suppressor Extreme

Is the Excalibur Suppressor Extreme good for moose?

Yes. At 400 FPS with a proper broadhead and shot placement inside about 40 yards, it carries plenty of energy for moose and elk.

Is it hard to cock?

No. The included Charger EXT crank does most of the work, and you can remove it when you are not using it.

Before your hunt, check the crossbow rules for your province, for example the Ontario hunting regulations. Still comparing? Look at the Excalibur RevX and Suppressor CRT, or browse all Excalibur crossbows in Canada. Questions about the Excalibur Suppressor Extreme? Get in touch and we’ll help.
